Splinter Cell delayed again!

Who can remember back when Splinter Cell: Conviction was originally slated for release?? Then they decided that the whole Emo Sam thing might not be the best idea and the gameplay they trialled in the first Assassins Creed had too many flaws and was too basic for an entire game to be based around, might not be the best thing for a game. Dah, what gave it away, I'm sure the emo thing would have been a winner. So back to the drawing board they went and eventually came out with a whole new artistic direction and story and game under the same moniker. They also came out with great quotes about it being better than Batman:AA, hmm well time will tell on that one but I doubt they have the ability to ratchett up the stealth to the speed and creativity that was displayed in Batman.
So now they have come out and advised that maybe February was a bit too early and they need a bit more time to make it better for the gamer, of course having the gamer in mind. Sorry Ubisoft but when you release 3 of your big games, namely Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, and Assassins Creed 2, and each of them has a very similar game breaking bug, it makes me think the reason you are holding back release is for financial reasons and because you are scared of a little competition because maybe Splinter Cell: Conviction doesn't have the base it once did nor the pace that other, more Batmany, games have.
But what I really want is for you to prove me wrong. I was a huge Splinter Cell fan until Double Agent messed around with the gameplay too much and croaked on the story. And recently you have put out games with bugs and terrible stories that are poorly paced and a bit too over the top. I think it's time you made sure that this one was gripping, drew you in, and well paced. It can be done but can you do it, or is your Game House status on the decline?
